Retired Naval Aviator, began flying Aeronca Champ 84488 in 1950 from Miller Airport (grass field) at East Moline, IL . After getting my Commercial in a Luscombe in 1955, went on active enlisted Navy duty and got wings and commission through the NAVCAD program. CFI since 1963, received Wright Bros. Master Pilot Award in 2005. Active in EAA Chapter 14. I am a UFO (United Flying Octogenarian). Currently flying Light Sport, mostly doing Tailwheel check outs.
